How do I plan a restock run for smart coolers?
Plan a restock run from a list: what each slot holds now against the par level you set for it, machine by machine, rolled into one list for the truck. Then check that list against what is on your warehouse shelf before you load.
VENDBase builds the list from your own synced stock and your own par levels, and keeps the shelf count for you.
What goes on a restock list?
Current stock, your par levels, and the gap between them. With HAHA and Qingo machines connected, sales, machine status and stock sync automatically, so the current stock side of the list comes from the machines rather than from memory.
How does VENDBase build the list?
Restock lists run against your own par levels. You get what to bring on each restock run, per machine or as one list, and on your phone, the restock list for the machine you are standing in front of.
Ask the assistant what to load tomorrow and get the answer off your own numbers.
Do I have it on the shelf?
Count what is on your shelf once. From there every purchase you log adds to it, every sale takes it away, and what is sitting inside your machines is accounted for. Pack sizes come off your own receipts, one tap to confirm.
Low stock alerts stay off until you ask for one, and the threshold is suggested from how fast that product actually sells.
What about the same product in two makes?
A Snickers is a Snickers. When the same product sits in a HAHA cooler and a Qingo cooler, VENDBase links the two, by barcode where there is one and with one tap where there isn't, so one product is one count across the whole route.
What about a product that is not earning its slot?
Every slot in the machine is paying rent whether or not anything in it moves. The free keep-or-pull checker takes three numbers and one honest question about your bench and gives you a verdict in plain words, with the reasoning shown.
Who do you talk to when something breaks? I'm Benjamin, I run a route in western Oklahoma, and we built this because nothing else existed.
$19 a month flat covers your whole route, so the price is the same whether you run three coolers or thirty. No per-machine fees and no tiers.
